OUR MISSION
The mission of the Haiti Got it x Purpose Driven Passport Good Samaritan initiative is to empower Haitian students and young adults with skills, resources, and funding that allows them to complete their education, start small businesses, and create long-term sustainable change in their local communities. Our trip will use a skills-based volunteering model to match the skills of applicants with the career paths of students and other school needs.
OUR 2018 PROGRAM
This year’s Good Samaritan volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in a week-long course in entrepreneurship, with the goal of empowering high school students and young adults with the tools to achieve their career goals. Our team, with the help of HAC staff and creole proficient translators, will help deliver courses ranging from business development and finance, marketing and social media, and budgets and finance.
At the end of the week, the aspiring student entrepreneurs will participate in an small business competition to pitch their ideas to their peers and our judges for a chance to win a business grant or college scholarship from Purpose Driven Passports.
